We live in a rich and beautiful country full of amazing people who live with hope and ambition for themselves and each other; a country where all of us could be living full, prosperous lives. But instead, far too many of us struggle to make ends meet.

The honesty of our media, the fairness of our taxes and the value of our votes are three crucial foundations for building a society where we can all flourish. But all three are currently set up to serve the rich and powerful rather than all of us.

Unless we break their grip on these three things, we will struggle even harder: to pay bills, get a doctor's appointment, a decent job, action against climate change and a hopeful future for our children.

Together, we can take control of our politics.

What we’re doing

We aim to remove the grip on power, wealth and information by the few and return it to the many.

Better media - to bring truth, balance and accountability to national issues and debates
Better taxes - to boost living standards, invest in public services, tackle inequality and limit the political power of the super-rich
Better votes - to ensure everyone's vote counts, political institutions represent the people, and the state can’t be captured by the rich and powerful

Who we are (and aren’t)

We are three major coalitions campaigning on tax, media and democracy. We will tell the story of how Britain has been captured by the few, and how, together, we can win it back for the many.

We are not a political party, but our ambition is to be a movement that no political party can ignore. We will challenge every political party and candidate to back our demands. How they respond will tell us whether they stand for you - or for the rich and powerful.

Votes, taxes and media are the foundation of how power works in Britain. Change how they work, and you change what’s politically possible.

Why we’re doing it

Over the last few decades, a tiny elite has amassed astronomical amounts of wealth and power. Meanwhile, the rest of us struggle, and the country declines.

This is not an accident.

The biggest divide in our country is not left vs right. It’s top vs bottom. Billionaires and the politicians they fund want us angry and divided because our unity is a threat to their wealth and their power. It is the oldest strategy in the world - divide and rule.

Their social media algorithms, their newspapers and their political friends attempt to tear us apart - by race, by gender, by religion. So we don’t notice them amassing more wealth and more power to fix the rules of our country in their favour. As their fortunes grow, ours decline.

They do this through:

the media to shape and control what people see, hear and think
an electoral system where a minority of our votes count
minimising tax on wealth so their power continues to grow

Each one matters on its own. Together, they reinforce each other.
